The National Charity League, Inc. is the premier organization in the nation that champions the mother/daughter bond.  NCL is unique in that both mothers and daughters develop leadership skills throughout their active participation in Texas Laurels Chapter activities.  Mothers and daughters work together as well as with their peer group learning, growing and creating a positive impact in the local community.  More than 150 chapters in sixteen states make up the NCL experience.

Chartered in 2006 by NCL, Inc., the Texas Laurels Chapter serves the community through volunteer commitments to the following community organizations: American Cancer Society, Community Associations of The Woodlands, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society of Montgomery County, Interfaith of The Woodlands, Komen Race for the Cure, Multiple Sclerosis Association, Special Olympics, Texas Children's Hospital, The Friendship Center Meals on Wheels, The Women's Shelter, YMCA and The Woodlands Children's Museum.
